I ordered the kit and it arrived in excellent shape, everything I needed was there. The directions were easy to understand and assembly took only about fifteen minutes. The unit tested as designed, performing flawlessly. One recommendation though, the suction hose has a standard ABS plastic strainer but no foot valve. Hence when immersing the suction hose into a pool or pond and trying to fulfill the requirment to prime the pump with water, before starting, is somewhat counter productive, because with no foot valve the water runs down from the pump into the pool or pond. To ensure the pump gets sufficient water lubrication and you don't burn out the seals, hold the suction hose above the pump level, prime the pump through the pump housing fitting, re-insert the pump housing casing plug, start the pump and place the suction hose into the water source.
